Percussionist/Producer Myles Bigelow comes through with this ground-shaking banger fused with traditional drums and marimba. After backing numerous award winning musical acts such as, Alexcuba Band, Orlando “Maraca” Valle, and Alpha Yaya Dialo, Myles took bold steps moving into his comfort zone by writing songs using traditional roots music fused with thick beats and deep bass lines. Adding to this release is Cuban trumpeter Miguelito Valdes (Afro Cuban All Stars) who adds lush horn lines over the top to give this song a Latin crossed Afrobeat groove that jolts the speakers as hard as any massive party anthem. On the B-side is a Dub remix that explores the more mystical and dark side of Myles’s sound. Staying close to his percussive roots this remix introduces yet another way to arrange percussion-infused beats for the dance floor. This is Myles Bigelow’s inaugural release with Deep Culture Music and is just the beginning of what promises to be a prolific journey into an exciting new world of sound.
