Electric Santeria EP is the second coming of collaborations being offered from Myles Bigelow and Toto Berriel. With a long history of friendship and a mutual resoect they have for Afro Cuban music, these two have written some new songs that cross pollinate Afro Cuban music and House Electronica. Along side of these songs are a heavy line up of artists offering quality remixes. Hallex M creates a dance floor heater with an afro dub flavor song, drivin by a funky galactic bass line. Over top are many layers of percussion and floating pad sweeps. Next up is Unnayanaa who creates 2 offerings for us. The first is a soulful vibe with swinging percussion and polished out with smooth keys. The third world remix comes in with banging kicks while flexing his production skills with some glitched out synths and tasteful percussion. On the flip side M. Caporale adds his flavor with a cross of jazzy horns over a driving afro groove. While MoBlack takes his remix into a moodier afro vibe. Dark lush synths with banging drum production accentuating a 6/8 rhythm over a punchy 4/4 kicks. An exciting package with plenty of selection and moods for all dance floor occasions.
